The Ghillie Dhu
Based on Scottish Folklore
Synopsis: In a quiet village nestled at the edge of an ancient Scottish forest, a curious young girl stumbles upon a strange, elusive figure lurking among the trees—a Ghillie Dhu, a guardian spirit of the wild. Drawn by his quiet kindness and the whispers of forgotten magic, she befriends the creature despite the village’s warnings. As she grows older, their bond deepens, but the encroaching hands of industry and superstition threaten both the forest and its guardian. When the village turns against the Ghillie Dhu, branding him as a menace to be eradicated, the girl must choose between the only home she has ever known and the creature who taught her the language of the trees.
